Marshall James Walton

 Dec. 22, 1989 – Feb. 13, 2015 Marshall James Walton, 25, passed away in a tragic accident February 13, 2015. His love for life and enthusiasm for all things, especially soccer, hunting and fishing, was infectious. Marshall touched everyone he knew with his beautiful smile and tremendous heart. He is survived by his loving family, parents, John G. Walton and Kathryn Latham Walton, and brother, Taylor McMillan Walton. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Norman James Walton, Mary Godfrey Walton, James Arthur Latham, Jr., Rosemary Latham Reimer, Henry Edward Reimer, uncles, Thomas Edward Walton and James Arthur Latham, III, and cousin, Andrew Blair Walton. He will be forever missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, whose lives he enriched with his special spirit. Marshall graduated from St. Paul’s Episcopal School and attended the University of Mississippi. He loved working with his dad in the family business, John G. Walton Construction Company, Inc. There will be a visitation in the Marian Center of St. Ignatius Catholic Church from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm, on Thursday, February 19, 2015. Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Interment at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pall bearers will be Jay Latham, Rad Latham, Christopher Walton, Jason Walton, Luke Walton, Andrew Walton, Will Ehlert, Wes Ehlert, Daniel Reimer, and Michael Moore. Honorary Pall bearers will be Park Parker, Charles Jackson, Matt Haidt, Forrest Jackson and Jack Nenstiel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Marshall J. Walton Memorial Scholarship, Alabama AGC, Mobile Section, 754 Downtowner Loop W., Mobile, AL 36609. Funeral arrangements by Radney Funeral Home, Mobile AL.
